TBT: Chopping Off My Hurrr

Hi friends,
I can't decide whether I prefer my text to be centred or aligned left... What do you think looks better? As you guys can see, I really am trying to commit to this blog. I think I've done a pretty splendid job this past week. At least by my standards. Normally I'd do like one post and then fall off the face of the planet.
Anyways, I thought it'd be fun to do some Throwback Thursdays here on this blog. I might help keep my on track if I add some themes to this blog. You know, I don't really do it too many TBTs on Instagram. I mean, I do sometimes but iunno, I don't usually find things worth posting. Too much goes into thinking "will I get enough likes?". What a lame way to think. So here I'm just gonna post whateva I want because I can!
Seriously. I can't believe my hair was that long... and that I chopped it all off! AH! I think I've gotten less sad looking back at this picture now that my hair is growing back out. Let me tell you, I do not like having short hair! Whoever says that it's 'less maintenance' is a liar. Maybe in the showering department. But dat shit requires way more styling time that I am willing to commit to.
For those of you who don't know, I donated ~21" of my hair to Angel Hair for Kids (see the video here). I've always had a soft spot for kids who have to deal with cancer or chronic illnesses and wanted to give back in some way. I attribute it to all the novels I read as a young teen. I know that there are people out there who say things like, "You know that it's not going where you think it is, right? They don't even use half of it!" or crap like that. Like shut up, you negative Nancy you! I like to think the best of people.
As much as I missed having long hair when it was shorter, I don't regret doing what I did. After donating my hair, I kinda gave myself permission to start playing with my hair while I still have the chance! I even got it bleached! It's how I got the soft ombré I have going on now. I never got to do much when it was long - especially since I was growing it for the purpose of donating.
