TBT: My Days In Victoria

There's tiny 'ol me in front of that giant building! In case you guys don't know, I'm actually a student at the University of Victoria and spent the last 2.5 years living there for school (minus summer breaks that is). I just moved back home permanently in December, so this was from last semester when one of my best friends came to visit and we decided to go all touristy and visit some main attractions. One attraction was the Parliament building, as shown here. I hadn't seen it since my first year in Victoria, and probably don't have a picture with it since maybe my 6th grade field trip! I didn't get out much when on the island haha.

Overall, that was a great weekend! Having my best friend come visit was so exciting and we had a blast. I was so sad when she had to go back. I don't know many people on the island and not having family around kinda sucked too. Anyways, although I miss the independence and beauty the island offers, the mainland is definitely my home and there is no have no desire to move back. I'll see you (Victoria) at convocation though!
